GTA 6 Album Set for Physical Release
Rockstar Games has launched a dedicated website for the official GTA 6 album, where fans can pre-order physical copies. A limited-edition vinyl version of the Grand Theft Auto VI album is priced at $124.98; this edition features two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, an exclusive new cover, and packaging designed in the style of the game itself.
Standard vinyl and CD versions of the GTA 6 soundtrack album will also be available, priced at $49.98 and $19.98, respectively. All physical editions are available for pre-order via the official website or through retailers such as Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.
It is worth noting that while the official soundtrack album is getting a physical release on disc and vinyl, the game itself will not. Grand Theft Auto VI will not launch with a physical disc version; retail copies will contain only a digital download code. Developer Rockstar and publisher Take-Two have faced significant backlash from fans over the absence of a physical disc version of the game.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X on November 19. Pre-orders are currently open, with both Standard and Ultimate editions available.
